1.What services does Northern, Inc. provide?
Northern provides adult day services, community living services, companionship services, respite care, individual training, and supported living services.

3. What are the costs associated with attending your programs at Northern, Inc.?
Northern, Inc. is funded through the State of Wyoming Developmental Disability and Acquired Brain injury waivers. Members (persons served) receive funding through those programs when accepted onto the waiver. There are some extra costs for residential services. Room and board is not included in the waiver funding and is the responsibility of the member (person served). Northern, Inc. also accepts private pay and those costs are based on several criteria.
4. How do you get approved to receive waiver services?
All members (persons served) interested in receiving waiver funding must first choose a targeted case manager to help with the funding process. There is a list on the state website with all case managers for the state of Wyoming. The website address is: https://health.wyo.gov/healthcarefin/hcbs/
5. What if any openings do you have at Northern, Inc.?
At this time there are openings in our residential programs as well as host family department but that may change due to limited space. We are always accepting members (persons served) for our day program. Companionship, respite, and supported living programs are available depending on the current number of providers versus members (persons served) receiving those services.
6. What are the ages of the people you serve at Northern, Inc.?
At this time the age ranges are 21 years old to 60 years old. We serve individuals 21 and over.
7. What kind of residential services do you provide at Northern, Inc.?
We have residential group homes as well as host family homes. In residential group homes the member (person served) lives with roommates and staff is present 24 hours a day to help and teach each member to live as independently as they can. In a host family the members (person served) lives closely with a family, where they have the opportunity to learn. It is all dependent on the right fit for the member (persons served).
8. Where are the residential and day sites located?
Our Day Program is located in Cody, Wyoming & Lander, Wyoming.
Our Residential Programs are located in Powell, Cody, Lander & Riverton Wyoming.
